Sunday 9th September
A suggestion was made by one of the members, Don MacTaggart, to have a fundraiser to go towards Drought Relief for the Australian Farmers.
On Sunday 9th September, 6 cars assembled at the clubhouse & headed into the Hinterland to Bochow Park at Numinbah for morning tea. Heinz & Meike’s dog Diamond had a wonderful time with some children with a huge ball to chase. Continuing into NSW, the cars travelled back to the clubhouse through Tomewin & Tallebudgera Valley.
On arrival, more members had arrived to enjoy a hot lunch plus delicious desserts provided by all the ladies. A considerable amount of money was raised for Drought Relief. People who couldn’t attend also donated funds to the good cause. A lovely way to spent a beautiful spring day enjoying great camaraderie with fellow club members while helping the drought stricken farmers.
